The first stop in my jouney left me stumbling over search engines, which one to use and how to use them?
Learning how to use the search engine to find information on kids, advice, money, education or entertainment; was rocky to say the least. Apparently, you can't just type in a word.
Its not like the "old school" Encyclopedia where you simply looked for the word and then information was there.
Technology has made huge advancement and confusion for me.
I spent many sleepless nights being frustrated and completly lost with all the click here, sign up now, make money, how to's, and sites that had nothing to do with my search. Nevermind the endless applications that you need to learn and keep up with to take advantage of doing any Social Networking.
Then, I almost went crazy setting up accounts, keeping track of where accounts were and the steps to complete all the extra applications.
However, I did make some stops that I found interesting information on products, services and training for marketing, money making, home and family and many other topics.
The internet provides a huge amount of information to include products, services, educational, charities, training and the "how to's" of any category.
Basically, I am just organizing what has interested me, and putting it all in one stop.
My Stops so far have included:
Social Networks and Applications
Health and Fitness
Home and Family
Finance, Home and Business
Entertainment
Well here I am, I think organized, probably not. However, I am confident I can continue my research and reviews
to higher quality, as I learn them.

And My Journey Begins...
I used the internet for my e-mails, instant messaging and just "surfing" around. But mostly to play games on.
I really did not have any idea that it was a whole universe, until I started venturing a little deeper into it.
I was forced by unforseen events to be stuck at home, I mean literally not being able to go anywhere or do anything. So, this lead me to have quite a bit of time on my hands.
I became bored of just playing games and needed something a little more challenging for my mind.
I am a mother of 5 children and a grandchild, whom all live with me. I am very busy person physically and mentally. But, life just seems to be trying to take me out, not giving me a break. I am unable to manage physically as normal at the moment, and I was finding it very frustrating. So if I cannot be physically active, I figured I would try some mental stimulation and I thought it would give me something to do on my down time.
Yah, that was a good thought at the time.
OVERLOADED MIND
When I was just looking around, the thing that frustrated me the most was that I could not find what I was looking for. There are many search engines to help you find what you want, however, it is not as easy as just putting in a word and presto the information is there!
I found that it is easy to do a search on something, but the challenging part is to filter out the search results that are of no use to your search and find the ones you really want. There is so much information on ANYTHING on the internet.
It took me a lot of time to find what I was actually looking for. With so many people using the internet there are many different sites relating to one simple word.
At first I bookmarked whatever I thought might be of some use. This turned out to be a mistake!
If you are an beginner internet user you will relate to the goose chase you that you go on looking for something online.
I would be on a site and there would be another link to something that sounded more related to what I was looking for, then another and another. Soon I found that my bookmark listings were huge and I didn't have a clue what was what?
I constantly got LOST!
Go ahead and laugh, really, but I did.
If you are not paying close attention you end up on a clicking trail to eternity.
My first mission...to figure out how to find the right information!
That is, after I figured out my mess of bookmarked sites, evaluated each one to determine which would be useful to me and what was not. This was not a fun chore.
DO YOUR RESEARCH
This is one of the most important things to do.
